Lovari and Brian Brennan Relaunch Latino Fan Club

Today's interview is with recording artist/actor Lovari and his business partner erotic filmmaker Brian Brennan. Particularly well known within the LGBT community, he is adding another belt to his name. He is a producer now and now has relaunched Latino Fan Club with Brian Brennan.

Justin Samuels: You just produced a new adult film with the Latino Fan Club. What's the name of the film? When can we expect to see it?

Lovari: Brian Brennan is a legend in the adult film industry, and I am honored to be working side by side with him. We completed a preview film called Savage Urban Desires, which will be out this spring. It is a prelude to other projects that we are beginning to work on. Think of it as the mixtape before the album. It introduces some new faces to the adult film world.

JS: Where will fans be able to buy your new film and other Latino Fan Club films?

Brian Brennan: Our new features will be in stores and you can also buy them directly on the Original Latino Fan Club website.

JS: I've heard Latino Fan Club parties were fantastic back in the day. Will there be more parties?

BB: Yes, our parties are now legendary. We are hoping there will be official Latino Fan Club parties this year, but topping what has been in the past will be a real challenge!

JS: What would you say you've learned from producing your first adult film?

L: I treated producing my first adult film the same way that I treated my suspense short film Shore Thing that won an award at the NY International Film Festival. I followed storyline and Brian's direction, and I assisted with my input.

JS: LeNair Xavier claims to have dated you in the past, and calls you a hypocrite for producing porn. Your thoughts on this?

L: LeNair and I had a courtship that lasted about a week. If you want to call that dating, then fine. I think it's pretty ludicrous for a former porn actor to be calling me out as a hypocrite for branching out into producing for the adult film industry. I am an entrepreneur who has various interests and passions in a number of entertainment genres. I was always gratified by the images and storylines in The Original Latino Fan Club videos, and therefore, I am excited to be a part of a franchise that was my favorite within this particular industry. I think the basis of LeNair Xavier's disdainment of me is that I decided not to pursue dating him after I discovered that he was active at sex parties. I wasn't interested in developing a relationship with somebody who was being sexually intimate with several other people as well. That's just not my thing. He is taking that aspect and twisting it into something else.

JS: On his blog, he claims you're a Latino degrading Latino while he had a past as a prostitute/porn actor. Thoughts?

L: Actually, I am Italian. So that's a false statement on his end right there. Secondly, how is it degrading somebody that is acting and being given scripted lines? These are works of fiction. And yes, some of the actors do identify as straight. In Hollywood, there are several straight identified actors who have played gay roles. Look at Brokeback Mountain for example or Sean Penn in Milk. As far as the element of degrading because of using the terms such as downlow and other urban slang, that is a fantasy that some men have. They like storylines of straight men getting it on with their homeboys. So what? That's what porn is for. It allows the viewer to be sexually gratified by whatever fantasy you choose. And this happens to be one of the bases of what The Original Latino Fan Club is. If you have a problem with downlow and straight bro fantasies, then you might as well have a problem with S&M videos, husband watches wife being gangbanged videos, and naughty maids videos. We are allowed to fantasize about whatever we want.

JS: You just made this announcement two days ago. What is the reaction of the gay community? And your fans?

L: I love my LFamz (Lovari's word for fans) because they are not afraid to express their opinion, even if they disagree with me. I always encourage them to do that because honest two way communication is the essence of a real artist/supporter fanbase. For example, when I released the song No Holding Back to radio, a few LFamz messaged me said, "Lovari, we like No Holding Back, but we love Take It To The Top instead. But we will support you!" And I wrote back and said, "Listen, don't be afraid to put that in the YouTube comments. You can be real and express how you feel, because that's what I'm about. I will love you more for it." And so, some of them did- even though they were kind about it. They wrote things like "This is a good track. Take It To The Top would be a great followup." As of right now, they have all supported this decision and just see it as an extension of who I am. You see, on my No Holding Back album, I spoke about my life openly. This includes downlow and sexual experiences, so this is just a natural progression. Snoop Dogg produced an adult film line while one of his albums was in the Top 10. Madonna released the Sex book right after co-starring in the successful film A League Of Their Own. This is not a career killer. The adult film industry is one of the most profitable of any type of business across the board.

  1. Justin, if you are going to quote my blog, I strongly advise you to get your facts straight. I did not say Lovari was a Latino. I never even mentioned his ethnicity in that post. So either you misread, or twisted the words to incite drama.

I said that Latino Fan Club shows Latinos on the down low. That's it. But I feel regardless of his ethnicity, that makes him a sellout to gays in general. Just as it has done for Chi Chi LaRue, Michael Lucas, and Chris Steele for their hiring of "gay-for-pay" porn actors. For as I said in many a blog post, one of the things questioning gay males learn from gay porn is being honest with themselves and others about their sexuality. It's how I learned, and I feel EVERY gay porn studio has that responsibility, but few act on it.

Case in point, Lovari's stupidity to compare FULL-ON sex in gay porn to the fake sex of..."Brokeback Mountain"??? With Heath Ledger's lousy spit lube being obvious of it being fake. Seriously?!

So he wants to use those 10 days as reason for my annoyance. NARCISSIST!!! I would feel that way about ANYONE in my circle (past, present, or future) producing porn featuring "gay-for-pay" porn actors. I knew from DAY ONE me and Lovari wouldn't work. For he seemed too uptight for me. But I gave it a go anyway. Now, to give you a timetable of our dating (or courtship), we met January 30, 2009. I am not going to have a big bru-ha about Valentine's Day on February 14, 2009 (like he wanted to). Valentine's Day 2010 and beyond? Hell yes, we would have earned it. But not 2009. So whatever plans I made before he came into the picture, like going to an underwear party, I'm going to do. But he conveniently left out how he got that information. And a link to that post is in the one about him producing porn. So if that really was the reason for my annoyance, I would not have included that link.

Now, please reread to correct your information, and enlighten your readers to how I have nothing to hide. Thank you.

  2. Also for the record, I do have a problem with most of the porn scenarios he mentioned, like S & M and wives being gangbanged. For I'm about a good display of mental health in porn. What you do in your personal life is on you.

But to further show Lovari's hypocrisy (who claimed to be so spiritual)...

You would think that Lovari understands respecting the limitations between sexual fantasies that can be healthily portrayed on camera, and sexual fantasies that should just stay in your mind, like that of sex with a straight guy. But evidently, for the sake of a buck, Lovari has turned a blind eye to that.

  3. Lovari honey. I love you dearly but I don't think this is a good idea for you. 2013 was probably your most successful year and I don't think branching out into the porn industry is in your best interest. I just think this could hurt you. Don't worry though I'll always be one of your LFamz though. No judgments. I just want you to think.

    1. How would it hurt him? It will hurt him if he only does music because nobody buys music anymore. That's why you see Madonna opening up gyms and selling perfume, and Mariah selling jewelery on HSN. Different ways of making money. And porn is definitely a money maker.

  5. As an LFam, I feel that Lovari focuses on doing things that he knows are going to provoke an intense reaction. He's the textbook example of somebody you either love or hate, with no in between. Think about it. He said "fuck" at some concert and the next day that's all the blogs talked about in regard to that event. Now think about how many singers rappers say "fuck". But those who have hate for Lovari made sure that this was brought out into the forefront. At the end of the day, he got talked about and highlighted and free publicity ensued. This is gonna turn out the same way. That's why LFamz like me support him the way that we do. Let's be real. He's not the best singer. but it's the way he executes things that makes us fans.

  6. I think it is wonderful how Lovari is always pushing boundaries, expanding his creative endeavors and exploring new and exciting opportunities. Porn/Erotia is a legal, exhilarating media that is extremely loved and enjoyed by millions of adults. It always has been and always will be. It is a healthy and fun way to explore our fantasies and add spice to our lives. Kudos to Lovari and others who have the courage to admit the obvious and dive into a steamy venue of valuable entertainment. Latin men have always been my dream and Straight men have always a delicious forbidden fruit for me! That is fine, real and nothing to be ashamed of. If you don't like erotica, then don't buy or view it. But never tell me what I should like. You can talk all you want - At the end of the day, people will always cherish their sensual fantasies. It's only normal and human - and beautiful!

  7. Gawd this guy Lenair is MESSY. Yall should grow up and stop with the childish drama, it's not pretty.

  8. Whether straight trade is your kinda thing or not, porno has never been about being politically correct. Straight trade is what put LFC on the map and nobody should be apologizing for that. Not for you? DON'T WATCH IT!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Are Lovari's songs gonna be in it too? Are dudes gonna be humping and break into Glee mode? That's probably why his new single is called Take It To The TOP!

    ReplyDelete
  10. OMG! LMFAO! What the f**k is this Lenair dudes's problem? How uptight and holier-than-thou can you get? Just because Lovari was crazy enough to spend 10 days with him - FIVE YEARS AGO - doesn't mean he can't be involved with Latin/Straight-trade pron! Lenair thinks that once some "dates" him, they should only make politically correct porn with gay-acting, upper-middle class, white Anglo Saxon men. Get over yourself! And just because someone is Latin, Lanair calls them ghetto-trash. I love Latino and Straight guy-on-guy porn! If you don't like it, too bad! - Johnny

    1. "Johnny", if that's your real name, you are just as delusional as Lovari. The fact that it's straight-trade porn is exactly my problem. If you want to be on the down low in your life, and risk your life with a hook-up with such a person, have at it. But don't inspire our questioning gay males who use porn as a guide to how to sexually conduct themselves to do the same thing.

Now, if you're going to try attacking my honesty about a situation:
      1) learn to spell, or turn on your browser's spell-check;
2)Get your fact straight. I did not call a guy "ghetto trash" just because he's Latino. If I felt every Latino was ghetto trash, then I would not have slept with my share of them. But ghetto trash is what Latino Fan Club features.
So if you are going to make a point at my expense, DO NOT LIE ABOUT WHAT I SAID.

    2. Sir, you are not well. Please seek some kind of mental treatmemt.

    3. "LeNair" or "Trey" or whatever your real name is. Get real. Latino Fan Club only features Latino performers and you call the performers ghetto trash. That is not a lie.

And are seriously saying that Latino Fan Club videos are guides for young men to aspire to? LFC is just adult entertainment, not guides for "questioning" youth. If anyone is trying to become or modeling their life after a character in a porn video, they have serious problems. That does not give you the right to judge what porn people should like. That is like saying S & M porn is wrong because young people will watch it an then think violence is acceptable. It's just a fantasy. No one ever claimed Latino Fan Club should be used as a guide for young boys who will grow up to be gay. Here's some facts that YOU should get straight - It is a popular sexual FANTASY for gay men to view straight men in sexual situations. Just like many straight men have a fantasy to see lesbian sex. That is just a reality and all your moaning will never change that. There is nothing wrong with that. Just because it may not be your fantasy does not give you the right to say what porn should and shouldn't be made. Even if that porn is made by someone you once had feelings for. Get a life!

  11. LeNair looks like a hateful hypocrite who can't handle competition. The porn film makers stopped offering him roles and Lovari stopped dating him and it looks like he is having a hard time dealing with it. It also looks like he never got over his feelings for Lovari and still yearns for him. . Janice Canes.

    1. Janice,

How stupid are you? Since porn, I have been doing so much with my life. I have been writing, reading poetry, modeling, and different opportunities are presenting themselves to me all the time that would not exist if I was still in the industry. So your claim that I "can't handle competition" is nothing more than you kissing Lovari's ass. Because....where's the competition when I don't want to do studio-based porn anymore. Nor am I yearning for Lovari. Anyone thinking that I am is projecting their mental health issues onto me. For those 10 days, plus afterwards him embarrassing me walking around at a sex party with those big granddad boxers was more than enough for me. Thank you. He's all yours.

    2. Le Nair, We know that you don't do "studio-based porn" anymore because no legitimate adult entertainment studio will have you. And you have the opportunity to write on free blogs and read poetry at open mics but there have been no publishing contracts, have there? So stop judging other people. Just because you couldn't make it, does not mean you have to tear down others who made it, and/or people who are trying.

And by the way, I think boxers on men are sexy!!

  12. There r so many places/programs that say they wanna help actors but 2 me it seems they wanna take money from them.

  13. Fb pokes? Really? Thought that was played out. Got it from one of spies. Confused...

  14. You know I truly feel sorry for this Le Nair person. It sounds like he has a lot of issues he needs to work out within himself and I hope one day he will take it upon himself to get professional help. And no, I'm not saying that to be shady don't get it twisted. He is obviously hurting and as they say, hurt people hurt people.

As for Lovari, he has the right to do he had damn well pleases. Porn is a part of the entertainment industry. He is a grown ass man he can make his own decisions. I'm sure he understands that in life the choices we make can have repercussions and we have to be prepared to deal with that.

    ReplyDelete
  15. So...basically, LeLoserNair targets popular people and talks crap about them in order to get attention for himself. Typical for an old washed up troll.

  16. I saw an artist tweet "Mental illness is a serious issue in the African American community. Especially with males. These needs to be fixed and addressed"... that is so racial and should not be tolerated. I hope that artist gets banned.
